DragonQuest IX Gameplay

DragonQuest IX Overview

In this video we discuss the new DragonQuest game just released exclusively for the Nintendo DS family of consoles. The DragonQuest series is the new title for the old Dragon Warrior games that some of you may have played on the original NES. DragonQuest IX brings a whole new story and some very familiar game play and enemies back to you on the DS! 

DragonQuest uses some of the same sound effects that the original Dragon Warrior used to really bring you back if you played the original on the NES. This video is a basic overview of the game and what to expect. My next video will dive deeper into the game mecanics and show more game play elements, so stay tuned.

 

 

WoW vs LOTRO

So your a level 80 in Warcraft and have plenty of gear awaiting the new expansion, or your a level 65 in LOTRO and have all your RAD gear with nothing more to do but grind! Maybe your just bored of the same old grind and are looking to see what else is out there..well my friends here you go. In this series of videos I will be going over some of the main features of the two most popular MMO’s out today. World of Warcraft and Lord of the Rings Online. While WoW is the largest and most successful MMO to date LOTRO has a pretty large following as well. WoW has a great questing model, excellent PvP and a fun storyline to follow, LOTRO has some really cool features an awesome story that takes you all over middle earth and some amazing crafting...its no wonder its the number 2 MMO out today! Take a look at my videos that show some of the main differences and how they are so alike in many ways. You never know you might find yourself giving the other a try for a while!

Super Mario Bros Wii - First impressions

I picked up the new Super Mario Bros. Wii today and am loving it! Take the original Super Mario side scrolling console game and update it with some cool 3D effects, modernize the music and graphics with a few twists and you have an instance classic. Lots of fun and great game play. It took me a few mins to get used to the physics of the characters but once I did the game is very very enjoyable! 

 

 

Monkey Island Wii vs PC

Teltale Games newly released Monkey Island is a classic adventure game for those of us "aging" geeks and gamers out there! This video I show a comparison between the WiiWare downloadable version and the PC downloadable version of the game.  I was not very impressed at all by the offering for the Wii so it looks like kicking back on the couch to "re-enjoy" this classic from my youth is out of the question!!
